Responsibilities
Provincial Executive and Portfolio Role
The Chairman provides overall leadership and strategic direction to NW-AGA and oversees the effective functioning of the Provincial Committee. He guides committee activities, chairs official meetings and supports cooperation between the different portfolios to help ensure that NW-AGA operates in line with AGA-SA objectives, policies and standards.
He also represents NW-AGA at official level and assists with significant organisational matters that require leadership or escalation. Where matters involve several portfolios, he helps coordinate the appropriate response and ensures that decisions are communicated and implemented effectively.
